Roborock Q5 Pro and Roborock Q5 Pro Plus are improved versions of this vacuum cleaner. Moreover, the latter comes with an automatic self-cleaning station. Appearance
Roborock Q5 Pro and Roborock Q5 Pro Plus are completely identical in terms of design. Both have a round black plastic body. A double rubber brush, the rollers of which rotate in different directions, is responsible for dry cleaning. Wet cleaning is carried out using a microfiber cloth. The devices have one side brush.
There are 3 control buttons at the top of the case, and when you open the lid, a 770 ml tank opens in front of you. The volume of the water tank is 180 ml. The most important difference between Roborock Q5 Pro and Roborock Q5 Pro Plus is the presence of a self-cleaning station for the latter. You will not find any differences in other parameters.

Wet cleaning with a microfiber cloth will not remove stubborn, dried stains, but will significantly refresh the surface. The water flow intensity can also be adjusted in the app. During the cleaning process, the devices create a 3D map of the room, into which any changes can be made. Each room can have its own operating mode. For example, turbo mode and wet cleaning are activated in the bedroom, and the children’s room is a restricted area. When the Roborock Q5 Pro Plus arrives at the docking station, it not only recharges, but also empties the dust bin. However, the function of washing the mop is not provided.
Verdict
Roborock Q5 Pro Plus Plus differs from Roborock Q5 Pro only in the presence of a self-cleaning station, for which you will have to overpay as much as 20 thousand rubles. A more advanced version costs about 57 thousand rubles, while a simplified model can be purchased for 37 thousand rubles.
If you do not want to come into frequent contact with dust when emptying the dust collector yourself after each cleaning (you don’t have time or are allergic), then the Roborock Q5 Pro Plus is the best option to buy. If you don’t want to overpay for a docking station that only supports emptying the dust bin (modern robots also have the function of washing and drying mops), then it’s better to take the Roborock Q5 Pro.
If you evaluate devices based on the quality of cleaning and ease of use, there are no complaints here. The devices do their job well and last quite a long time without recharging.
