If you disconnect the MagSafe wallet from the paired smartphone, then within a minute the user will receive a notification that the accessory is lost. And the last location of the wallet will be displayed on the map.

This feature will not allow you to find the accessory if it was stolen. But if someone tries to connect a lost MagSafe wallet to an iPhone, all the contact information of the owner of the accessory will appear on the gadget’s screen.

The disadvantages of the new MagSafe wallet case also include the fact that a message about the loss of an accessory may appear even if the wallet is located next to the smartphone, but is not connected to it. For example, in cases when you remove it in a store in order to take out and pay with one of the cards. If you don’t connect your wallet to your iPhone within a minute, it will start signaling that it’s lost.
